Refugees Welcome In Long Eaton

There are two hotels housing asylum seekers in Long Eaton. The far-right fascist group Patriotic Alternative has called a protest LONG EATON SAYS NO TO MIGRANT HOTELS in the market place from 11am.
There will be an event from 10am to say refugees welcome stop the scapegoating . It’s been called by Nottingham TUC and Stand Up To Racism. We will have placards, stickers and leaflets, etc. The last protest outside one of the hotels was very well attended by anti-racists.

Festivals
We are all ready for Chesterfield Pride and YNOT festival.
Thousands of stickers, hundreds of badges and T-shirts to take the message to festival goers!
Do come along, find our gazebo and volunteer to help.

Big Ride For Palestine
Support the Chesterfield Big Ride for Palestine 2022, by sponsoring the team of six volunteers and refugees from North Derbyshire. Cycling from Derby to Manchester for GlobalGiving, to raise funds to give Palestinian children opportunities to cycle and play.
Their planned journey:
- Friday 29th July: Derby -> Stoke
- Saturday 30th July: Stoke -> Manchester
- Sunday 1st August: Around Manchester
